In January 2021, someone scammed my mum out of £600.
She was still on the phone with the scammers when I arrived. I could hear them — calm, professional, convincing. Telling her she owed money. Making her believe if she didn't pay, something terrible would happen. And she paid. Because they're good at what they do.

That moment changed everything. I decided if these people were going to spend their days stealing from ordinary people, I was going to spend mine making sure they couldn't. Every minute they waste on me is a minute they can't spend on your mum, your nan, your grandad.
In May 2021, on my nan's birthday, I made my first bait call. I was nervous. I didn't know what I was doing. But I kept them on the phone for over an hour. An hour they couldn't spend hurting anyone else.
Now this is what I do. I call scammers. I record the calls. I show you their tactics so you can protect yourself and your family. And I waste as much of their time as I possibly can.
